Traditionally and alternatively trained in both science and medicine, she brings a metabolic-first perspective to optimizing health from the ground up. Dr. Moore is the host of The Dr. Tyna Show podcast and an international speaker known for her direct, no-nonsense approach to strength, hormones, and longevity. With a combined following of over half a million across platforms, she’s been featured on dozens of top health podcasts and stages worldwide. Through her online education programs and social media presence, Dr. Moore helps the general public and practitioners get the basics right – because without a strong metabolic foundation, no therapy, treatment, or supplement will ever deliver lasting results.
ABOUT THE SESSION
The protein war is on - but what actually work for the individual?
3 OCT · Vision Stage · 10:10
Protein is the building material for muscle, and muscle matters far beyond the gym. It supports blood sugar control, strength, bone health and independence as we age. Yet most of us have no idea whether we're eating enough, or whether the protein we eat is doing its job.
The answer depends on who you are. Needs rise with age, as the body gets less responsive to protein and muscle becomes harder to keep. They rise with training, and they rise when you're losing weight. Where your protein comes from matters too. Animal and plant sources differ in amino acid profile and how well the body uses them, and powders vary widely in quality, with independent testing finding heavy metals in many popular products.
GLP-1 medications add a new layer. When appetite drops and weight comes off fast, some of that loss is muscle. Without enough protein and strength training, people can end up lighter but weaker, with a slower metabolism and worse long-term health. For the growing number of people on these drugs, protein intake needs a deliberate plan.
This panel brings together a physician specialising in metabolic health and GLP-1 treatment, a nutrition educator who has taught protein and fasting strategies to millions, and the founder of a Danish supplement company built on third-party testing. They'll cover how much protein it takes to build and maintain muscle, which sources work best, and how to protect your muscle if you're on a GLP-1, with room to disagree where the evidence is still open.
ABOUT THE SESSION
The do's and don'ts of micro-dosing GLP-1s
3 OCT · Impact Stage · 14:30
Microdosing GLP-1 receptor agonists has become a growing practice among practitioners and patients seeking metabolic optimization, longevity benefits, and off-label applications, often ahead of any formal evidence base. As protocols spread through clinics and social media alike, the field is left with more questions than answers.
Dr. Tyna Moore introduced the concept of microdosing GLP-1s in 2023, and has watched it evolve into a range of practices that often diverge from the original framework. This session revisits what the term was meant to describe and where practice has drifted, offering a practical, clinically grounded look at what practitioners are actually doing, where the reasoning holds up and where it's speculative, and the operational realities, including dosing accuracy, reconstitution, and monitoring, that separate careful practice from guesswork.
Attendees will leave with a clearer framework for evaluating microdosing claims and exercising sound clinical judgment in a fast-moving space.
