ABOUT THE SESSION
From periods to longevity: what every woman should know about her body
3 OCT · Vision Stage · 14:05
For decades, women have been taught to normalize feeling bad. Painful periods, exhaustion, mood changes, poor sleep or brain fog are too often dismissed as “just being a woman” or “just hormones.”
But what should we actually expect from our bodies — and what should we understand before something feels wrong?
Women’s health is often discussed in chapters: periods, fertility, pregnancy, perimenopause and menopause. But our biology doesn’t reset between each phase. What happens earlier in life can shape how we feel and age decades later.
This conversation explores female health across a lifetime — how to better understand the signals our bodies give us, when to look beyond an individual symptom, and what we shouldn’t simply accept as part of being a woman.
Because understanding female health means looking at the whole picture: our biology, our life stage and the lives we actually live.
And what changes if we start doing that earlier? Could understanding our bodies better today help us make more informed choices — and ultimately change how we experience the decades ahead?
