ABOUT THE SESSION

When the longevity expert becomes the patient

3 OCT · Vision Stage · 15:15

Moderated by Tine Hertz, with Hoda and Sarah Glynn from Dragonfly (US). Sarah shares her breast cancer story and her path through treatment and healing, combining conventional medicine with functional/integrative approaches. The particularly interesting angle is the paradox of becoming seriously ill while working within the longevity and health industry — what happens when someone who seemingly “does everything right” becomes the patient? This could become a very personal conversation about the limits of prevention, navigating different medical paradigms, vulnerability, and what health and longevity mean once you have experienced serious illness.
