Mads Koch Hansen

Dr Mads Koch Hansen is a medical doctor, specialist in anaesthesiology and intensive care, and Director of Medicoindustrien, the Danish industry association for medical devices. He has held leadership roles across the Danish healthcare system, including Medical Director at Sygehus Lillebælt from 2015 to 2020, and Chair of the Danish Medical Association from 2010 to 2015.

At Copenhagen Health Week, he brings a system-level perspective on how technology, ethics, value-based procurement and care closer to citizens can support a more robust health service. His work connects clinical experience with policy, innovation and the practical realities of improving outcomes for patients and healthcare professionals.
