Dr. Torbjørn Ogéus
Dr. Torbjörn Ogéus is a senior pain specialist with clinical experience in regenerative medicine. He has a background as a professional athlete, where routine surgery of a meniscus in the knee caused severe Osteoarthritis (OA) and ended his professional career at the age of 30. He was given the option of a total knee replacement but decided to dedicate his life to developing a regenerative treatment as an alternative to surgery. Since then, he has been looking for innovative ways to treat OA. He found an effective treatment for his own knee and was able to regenerate the cartilage of his own biological knee and is currently training and performing sports without a problem 16 years later. Since his career change, He has finished 4 master’s degrees in the field from Universities such as Edinburgh university in Scotland and Stanford in the US. He has been treating tendons and osteoarthritis with growth factors for over 15 years. In 2019, his team performed their first stem cell treatment for OA and he published evidence of increased joint space in knees and hips with OA after stem cell treatments in 2024. Ogéus is an expert advisor to numerous companies in the stem cell industry around the world, helping them with clinical aspects such as developing clinical protocols and discussing practical challenges when conducting clinical trials with stem cells and exosomes. In the last two years Ogéus has published 14 peer-reviewed studies in the field and he is currently working on a multicentre, international study comparing different stem cell treatments against OA over the next two years and is finishing a preclinical study on pluripotent stem cells in peripheral blood.
His clinic has patients flying in from all over the world and is performing a combination of treatments with growth factors, stem cells, exosomes and hydrogels with the main goal to one day find a real cure for the world’s largest disease – Osteoarthritis.

Stress and burnout are some of the most talked-about challenges of our time. But the real conversation is not only about how to treat burnout once it happens—it’s about how to avoid it, manage it, and build resilience before we reach the breaking point.
Burnout rarely comes from one single trigger. It’s the accumulation of pressures in both professional and personal life—pressures that are increasingly hard to separate. The key lies in understanding how these dimensions are connected, and in equipping ourselves with the tools to balance modern life.
This talk explores how we can cultivate resilience—not by avoiding stress or change, but by learning to stand strong through it. It’s about building the inner and outer resources that allow us to navigate uncertainty, manage challenges, and thrive not only at work but in every aspect of life—so we can truly strive, keep performing, and stay healthy even in times of change and challenge.
